Kunsthalle Bar is newly reopened on the occasion of Alex Baczynski-Jenkins’ exhibition Such Feeling. It is now open every Thursday from 6 pm, with DJ sets, readings, and events until December 5, 2019, in collaboration with Culturescapes.
On Thursday 21.11.2019 from 9 pm, Amarantis will play a DJ set, accompanied by the screening of COSMOPOL, a dance film by Ola Maciejewska, and special Ballets Fantastiques-cocktails. This bar night is in correlation with Bombyx Mori at Kaserne Basel (Fri, 22.11.2019): Inspired by the early avant-gardist Loïe Fuller, Ola Maciejewska transforms the spectacular dance costume of Fuller’s Serpentine Dance into an intoxicating choreography.
