Museum Night Basel 2014

Program:

6-10pm: All colourful around here – paper workshop for kids and adults
From Leporello to the bound book … We design, punch, fold, sew and bind our own books and dive into the colorful, diverse world of paper.

7.30, 8.30, 9.30, 10.30pm: short guided tours
Sophia Nava und Muriel Schmid, students of the Department of Art History at the University of Basel, will give short guided tours through the exhibition Winter Line of Ross Birrell and David Harding.

6.30, 11.30, 12.30pm: performance with pianola
As part of the exhibition by Ross Birrell and David Harding the pianola is playing the composition Olinka Variations (2012) by Ross Birrell.

9pm: Highlight
Live-recital of Sonata (2013) and Beat Etude (2013), composed by Ross Birrell, followed by Mozart-Adagio for violin, cello and piano (1992) by Arvo Pärt und Piano Trio A minor: Passacaille (1914) by Maurice Ravel, played by Mario Montore (piano), Member of the Avos Quartet Rome (IT), Tony Moffat (violine) and Robert Irvine (cello), Members of the DaVinci Trios, Glasgow (UK).

6pm-1am: Hot and Healthy
Soup, bread and drinks at the bar in the foyer.
