Artist Nick Mauss (*1980) insists on the form of the exhibition as an assembly of precisely staged new relations. In this exhibition, with a scenography conceived especially for the spaces of the Kunsthalle Basel, Mauss brings together and re-frames works by contemporary and historical figures, emphasizing aspects of legibility, textility, fragility and aggression across various media.
